gen q about h.o. alt

well i took out my sound system and i now only have the iraggi h.o. alt with big 3 still done on it..

hope this doesnt sound too dumb but is it safe to keep it in there since there is no subs? or does it not matter?

also when i rev high i hear a weird humming noise that sounds like its coming from alt..could not be but just checking..do there alts make noise at high rpms from the power they produce?

it should be fine if you keep your alt and big three done....the humming im not too sure about
