Very true, LOL But as long as your wires don't cross or touch, you should be fine in any orientation. Its better in the long run to upgrade alt and do the big 3 with 1/0 wiring. most here who are more experianced will ask about the system you are running and what your electrcal looks like.
Hellbound Train Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 The angle probably has to do with the way he will be mounting it such as mounting on an angled amp rack. I have ran a cap in the past and had no problem running it in whatever position I mounted it. I know more now so that I can upgrade the alt, do big 3, and add batteries. But I never had a bit of problem with the cap even if it was a scosche from walmart. I never dropped below 12 volts with the 1500 watt crunch amplifier on it.

To be honest, I would mount it back in the packaging and return it. Just get an extra battery. But if you dont have a HO ALT or 4 you will just be adding more strain onto the alternator with either choice.
