ROCKSOLID84
Its not a matter of "jumping on the ported and loud is better wagon." Its that these subs are designed for ported applications. If you want a driver that can do sealed, Sundown has the SA series, great sub! Very musical. But the Z v.2 is very musical in ported applications. Mine played everything, so far the only sub besides my TC Sounds TC-3000 that sound awesome in a ported enclosure. I think you should give the Z v.2 in a ported enclosure a chance. no.... Quote JAMES SAID.. you dont need 1500 for a WOOFER people just love overpowering rather then building for the power recommended THATS A SMART GUY... notorious97200
You must have made a mistake by getting a Nightshade. It's a pure spl beast sub. Not what you seem to want. Maybe you should look for a Z v1 ? Quote black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
