Need opinions, what should I do?

Ok here's the situation. I had my box sitting on top of my clif designs 4800.1 and I fried the amp saturday. I think it was because the one brace that I used to stop flex on the bottom of the box came loose and the box was banging pretty hard on the amp and it broke something off the board inside. Blew a fuse, replaced it and it went up in smoke when I turned it back on. Now I can either pay shipping both ways from mass to texas to have it repaired for an estimated 2-300$ and risk getting the amp back and having more problems with it, or I got an offer from a guy on CACO that buys up cheap blown amps and repairs them himself, he offered 100$ plus shipping so If I do that I will have a budget of $800 to try and get a deal on another amp or amps that will do 4500+ rms at either .5 ohms or 2 ohms, I like the clif amp because its stable to .5.... so what should I do/ what would you do? If you answer the poll also let me know what you think and why, thanks for the help guys.

I like it too I just worry that if I get it back and a few months down the road it breaks down again then Ill already have spent the 300 fixing it and will either need to spend another 300 probably to get it fixed again or now I have to get a new amp and wasted 300+ fixing this one. I mean I guess I could get it back and it be fine but I overthink sometimes.

if your worried that much about it i would just go buy a new amp and have warranty. and selling it for 100 plus shipping is a little cheap i would say150 or 200 plus shipping. that amp new is prolly 600-800 or more(idk how much they run just a guess). i wouldnt sell it that cheap even if it is blown. a sundown 4500 with suite your needs just fine but there a little more than you wanna spend

edit: maybe even 2 audioque 2200d linked together at 2 ohms that would be about right for ya to and right around your price range

The cliff amp new would be more than 6-800 I saw it somewhere for well over 1000 I got it used for 600 but I sold my 2 aq 1200s so I didnt pay the full 600 I used the money from selling those towards it but I dont need to buy a new amp Id love to get a sundown 4500 if its stable to .5 ohm and I could find a used one in my price range. 2 new aq 2200s are possibilities but 4400 watts would probably be a downgrade from the clif amp.

Bump for today I want to make a decision by this weekend and I just can't make up my mind
