remi_357 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 got my setup done last night. It is 4 kicker cvr 15's on a audiopipe ap30001d (great amp by the way). The car is a 95 caprice, big 3, crap battery. Im having severe voltage drops which I knew i would (almost 10 volts). here is my question..... I have a extra red top im not using, would I be better off with red top under the hood and brand new battery for the trunk. Or should I do red top under the hood and a high output alternator? I have seen ho alternator rebuild kits on ebay of $100 for 200 amps. Just dont have enough money to do both. Which would be the right choice??
