MECHMAN
That is is incorrect. Running a relay can wreak havoc on the alternator, as well as the battery, if you run either battery down when the vehicle is turned off. We see isolators and relays destroy alternators all the time. Just run the batteries together in parallel. The alternator will not be bothered by it, and your amps will have more battery to draw from. Isolating them with a relay will only allow you to feed off of one battery at a time, which defeats the purpose of multiple batteries. 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
