fischy fisch Posted June 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 8, 2010 Hey, I got a single kicker comp 12 - 4 ohms - 50-150w rms, and currently run it with a olddfddd assss Sony xm502x from 1998, lol. It's just in a sealed truck box because I have an escort wagon and I go camping all the time so I move the box behind the drivers seat when I load all my gear in it. But anyway, would that help make it louder/deeper/stronger/etc? Yes, I know it's a small set up, but would it be a noticible diffrence? I also have a mtx thunder 3401 that says 200w rms at 4 ohms but i got it free from a buddy because it's blown, but mtx said they would fix it for 65 bucks. Whick would be a better bet, the mtx or tge crunch? And what's the birth sheet on the crunch? Would tge 500.1 crunch be enough to power the kicker? Or should I go bigger? Also, sorry if I'm asking too many questions, what's tge best shallow mount sub for a sealed truck box? Thanks man, I look forward to a response. you need to go and build a ported box for the kicker some thing that take the whole lenght of the seat and real skinny and it help alot but id go with the crunch it put out a lil more power and its fine about the questions just keep it to the pm's plz and ill help you out as much as i can ill even design you a box if you want for you kicker if you get the crunch from me but id go with the crunch thats what was running the kicker i got for sale we had it on there for one show for like 30 seconds and thats it then we took it out and put it for sale just pm me and we will talk more lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol.
