bigredishott
Started a box today nothing special. I wanted to make it bigger but, the moron at home depot messed up my cuts! Grrrrr After getting home and realizing my boards are like 2 inches short I had to make a new design maximizing what I had. Tomorrow I plan on adding some glass to the seams and cut out the circles. Here what I got so far. I have 3 of these to put in it. Like I said nothing special, don't rip too hard! will put up more tomorrow. bigredishott
looks good cant wait to see it done should be around your house in a few weeks I will see you Sunday, remember? Should be rocking it by then. Not sure if I will carpet it on it or not. Picked up a can of adhesive in case I decide too. Although, I haven't carpeted anything in almost 10 years. lol Quote Alpine CDA-9847 HU F Highs 2x Infinity Kappa 60.9CS Powered by Eclipse EA4200 Glass door panels R Highs Infinity Ref. 9622i powered by HU 3x RF Punch HX2 RFD2210 Powered by MTX Thunder 81000D Box Vol. 3.259 before displacement, Tuned 36.6, Port area 54"
bigredishott
I have a question for anyone paying attention. I used elmers carpenter glue and a brad nailer to hold it together while glue dries. Should I put some screws in too, or is the glue and glass in the seams enough? Thanks Quote Alpine CDA-9847 HU F Highs 2x Infinity Kappa 60.9CS Powered by Eclipse EA4200 Glass door panels R Highs Infinity Ref. 9622i powered by HU 3x RF Punch HX2 RFD2210 Powered by MTX Thunder 81000D Box Vol. 3.259 before displacement, Tuned 36.6, Port area 54"

chapo123
so you wouldnt reccomened having home depot do the cuts? im about to build a box and it would make my job hella easier if they cut it for me. but you said its bad? i only have a electric hand saw, it would save me hella time and be easier if they cut it.. what i was thinking is telling em to cut my sides and tops etc like 2 inch bigger then what i actually need so i can cut off the little parts when i get home.. what you thinkg? Quote Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history.
