Plans and ideas for a build I want to work on

If you don't want to read it all I'll understand, ask, and I'll be more than glad to answer. Let me know if any of this will work, if it wont, or if I need something that I may have missed

Am currently running 2 15" Lanzar MXW subs sealed in a 1.5cu.ft. per sub off a Kicker zx460

About time I started asking some real useful questions for me, and you guys for when I do get started and bring on the pics!

Originally I wanted just one AQ SD2.5 15" ported which would require about 3.5ish-4 cu.ft.

I will take suggestions, If I can save money that would be even better.

I finally decided to really start saving money and find work to do so I can get money to get a real setup going for me.

I will not start this until maybe October/November when I save up enough money, or maybe I'll buy stuff as I get there.

The plans:

AQ 1200D

and 2 RE SRX15D2 in series/parallel for a 2-ohm load and about 600 wrms

then eventually 4 RE SRX15D2 in ser./par. which are a perfect match for the total 1200 wrms from the AQ 1200D

^^^That's about $500 right there with the temp. 2 subs for who knows how long which I find very reasonable

Current Kicker zx460 for mids and highs, possibly the powerbass sc-6 6.5 components iirc

As far as electrical upgrades, big three 3 for sure, A kinetic 800 or one up from that in the front and another in the rear with a + and - run from front to back on stock alt maybe? tell me if it'll work

I'm gonna choose these subs for the cu.ft. they require either sealed/ported.

I might try about 2cu.ft each sealed first and then depending on how I like or don't go ported.

The fs on these is low at 23hz, so when I do go ported I'm gonna need suggestions or a simple design and want to do about 2.5cu.ft. at about 28-32hz per sub

This will all go in an Impala's trunk probably port forward and subs up.

If someone can get me designs that's great, I'll get dimensions ASAP, and I'll also make some sketch-ups and hopefully some of you can correct me if you see something wrong.

I'd tune it to 32hz minimum. Also, don't bother with the sealed first, it's just spending more money on wood, just do the ported first, and if they are 15"s they will want more than 2.5 cubes ported.

Well, 3 cubes are recommended per sub but I wanted to get the most space out of my trunk and the amp to cram 4 15's in there at some point. Should I just do 2 15" in say 6.5 cubes before displacements and bracing and baby the amp at 2 ohms?

4 15"s won't fit well in a trunk unless you are doing a show car (small ass fiberglass box).

I'd say your better off doing 2 15"s in a great box. Rather than 4 in small boxes.

Yep, I can, can you put the subs you are using in the PM too, just so I don't get confused with all the others I am doing. Hopefully you won't have to build it in there but we'll see how it goes.

Okay I'll get back to you tomorrow on that, and i can only put in a box through the trunk opening because the one for the rear seats is a lot smaller. I'll just get every dimension I can find for you on the trunk tomorrow.

Anyone else have any suggestions on the electrical, think I'll be good or need something else?
