93Cutty
Hey guys, this guy here has a 2k4 Intrepid and I see the dang battery is like under EVERYTHING/in the wheel well and I was just wondering if ANYone has any tips or tricks or anything to help me get this install done up? I haven't started yet, we just ordered the parts now. We're going to go 2 Soundstream T4 12s ported (tuning is still up to whatever I find out best) in (however big I need) box. Any help with working with the battery, working with running the wires, getting them through the firewall, any tips I would be very happy to listen to. Thanks again. Jeremy. ChevyBoy
well what kinda power r u gonna be runnin to them?? u need atleast 1/0 to power those things. i would just run the wire under the car like meade did in the civic. then bring them in through the trunk. that would be the easiest way to run 1/0 in a car. those take 1800 rms a pair so u might wanna worry about an h/o alternator too. also, what "parts" did u get??? 93Cutty
He doesn't need extreme extreme.. he heard my old setup and doesn't want that . I got him the 2 t4 12s and then a picasso 1700.1. It'll be enough for now. I'm sure the stock electrical system will be a bit strained, but he'll find out quickly and I'll be there to help him. He's my cousin I'm still kind of :-[ about him, we never were really close but you know. I have to read more about it. Going to start the box soon. Going to tune 30 ish. FS is 36.5 on these things so I will have to see. I hope they are as nice as I think they are going to be.

David
The dash comes apart real easy, the door panels where a pain in the ass, the rear package tray is simple. The trunk is F'n HUGE I tried getting my Old man to do something wild, but my Mom Said absolutley Not. links to pics, because they are Massive http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/Sac...id/e3f9d745.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/Sac...id/cbcabc33.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/Sac...id/c260b49a.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/Sac...id/5d7201d2.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/Sac...id/df5d2d64.jpg. I didnt get pics of the door panels because you cant tell there is new Boston Acoustic 6.5 coaxial's same with the rear deck and he was in a hurry, rushed me the whole time he was here, the quicker I got it done the quicker he could get on vacation. tune those T4's to 35 hz in about 7^3 common chamber 80^2 of port area and it will bang nice choice of equipment, Im a Old School SoundStream Fan.
