sully Posted July 23, 2010 Report Share Posted July 23, 2010 Check out Nelson's Performance, they have everything you need for the swap and have the ability to get you a tune loaded into a PCM and do a swap for you. Talk to them before you get your hopes up on a 500hp NA 5.3L. I've been trying to get my Hoe down there for a couple months to do the 6L swap. A fully built 6L with a built tranny and a true posi unit will put about 400-425HP to the ground. That is about double what the stock 5.3L puts out so it is worth the swap.
