Metra 99-3303 with 2005 malibu/remote start

Hi, I just bought a 2005 malibu and being the audio guy I am, I would like to install my after-market head unit in this car. The one thing I have a question about is... Does the Metra 99-3303 still have the capabilities to run my remote start (its a factory remote start), I would also like to know if you guys have herd of any problems with this dash kit, iv herd a few, but they go back and forth on the same topic... (this dash kit has he hard drive; if you will, for the keyless entry, oil change stuff, fuel economy, ect.)

it shouldn't affect it. I have seen the displays got out, sometimes the buttons won't work. You are at Metra's mercy on this. If you get a bad kit, you have to send it back till you get a good one. Dammit.
