Which battery should I use???

I have 2 Optima Yellow tops (1 installed as my starter 1 sitting around) and I can get 1 Kinetik HC1800 from a friend.

My question is should I use the HC1800 as my starter and put 1 optima in the trunk or the Optima in front and the HC1800 in the trunk?

OR HC1800 in front & 2 optima's in the trunk??

I have a stock 70 amp alt did the big 3 0/1 gauge. Planning on a bigger alt when the funds are right.

Whats your suggestions?? or should I wait for the alt?

all your batteries, no matter how many you have, will be "starter" batteries since they will all be linked together in 1/0 gauge (which i hope you plan on doing).

there is no point in my opinion to have 3 batteries on a stock alt since each battery will take about 10 amps to charge, thats leaving 40 amps for the REST of the car AND the amplifier(s).

stick with 1 kinetic under the hood and save for an alternator, then get batteries after that.

what amp(s) are you planning to power may i ask?

I looked around for a H.O. alt for my car but not alot of companies make them for my 93 Camry LE 2.2L 4Cyl. I found a iraggi 180amp alt for my car but thats about it.
