I'll soon be running 2 12" RE Audio MX and dont really wanna run XX Colossus anymore (its already sold for those of you wondering lol)

Anyhow im kinda stuck on what would be better for the money to power 2 MXes

The RMS is 1600 on each sub, and i'd probably run the impedance as low as i could (.35 before rise) subs are dual 2ohm but read 1.4 per coil. I've pretty much Narrowed it down to:

Incriminator Audio 40.1 $1,399

US Amps AX3000DE No idea how much it cost

I'll have plenty electrical Ho alt and Optima up front and 3 HC2400 in the rear.

lemme know what you all think

how do you "mod" an amp yourself? take it to a tv repair place that works on all kinds of electronics and tell them to mod it? to go down to a lower ohm and all that or is it something you remove and replace in the amp easily?
