My first system!!

PLEASE HELP!! i am gettin my first system soon and i have some questions about wiring and such. if you know of any great deals on amplifier kits or if you have some left over or wire you want to donate , let me know because i need it dearly. the system is only 400 watts but i'm planning on upgrading soon but nothing over 1000w. my friend told me i need 4 gauge, what do you think? give me some tips and tricks because anything helps. Thank you

ya i would definitely run 4 gauge. that will do your 400 watts up to your 1000 watts. any specifics on what gear your lookin at? oh and go to knukonceptz.com for wire. only get the fleks cable though. its ofc (oxygen free copper) which flows power much better then the klmx which is cca(copper clad aluminum)

i have tsunami ran in my car, thats the 8g tho, i also have the pheniox gold 4g ran to my speaker amp, good stuff, IMO go with the last one, but always check the SMD partners sites, great deals there, for darvex as an SMD member you get a discount
