riotsskater
Ok so I was driving today playin some psyph morrison at pretty low volume. All of a sudden, my sub just cut out and i smelled something so i pulled over.. checked the hatch and my sub was smoking a bit. It wasnt warm at all, and neither was the amplifier. The sub pushes in without making sounds, so that leads me to believe that it is not blown. The amp is getting power. I cant seem to figure out what it is. I took the sub out of the box and could not notice anything wrong with it. Any help would be great. Thanks. The sub played for a good 2 months with not one problem. I usually play at 30/50 volume, when it cut out, i was playing at 14/50. 2 15" Audioque SDC2.5's 1 Sundown SAZ-1500D 1/0 Gauge Tsunami Wiring

chapo123
check the coils with a dmm. look at the coil as well. maybe a wire shorted out or something (speaker wire) thats why you saw the smoke and it stopped playing. maybe a wire came out. check all your connections.
