so im just driving, bumping listening to my music not loud at all and my sub cuts out

my first thought was i blew its

but then i was like theres no way in hell beause i bearly had it on

so i drive back home

check my fuse up front and it hasnt blown

but my amp wont turn on..

any ideas?

check ur grounds, check ur remote wire,recheck fuses, maybe open the amp up (unhooked of course) and look for burnt parts i'd start with that.

check voltage AT THE AMP. u can blow fuses without them looking blown

well than u gots a problem before the amp thats what i think, u can fry an amp without ever popping a fuse lol.

im not sure where the problem is.. hince the reson i came here and asked

haha i know all i have to do is have too big of fuse back there

but its factory fuse back there

Im just saying its kinda like when u fry a channel ur amp still turns on but no sound comes out, hince what i said above, u can fry something without blowing a fuse. chewck and see if theres power in ur PW coming to the back idk though these are just suggestions.

i took both the pw and the ground out and hooked it up and theres no power coming from the front to the back

wait so you took both the power (not pw) and ground wires out of your car fully, then touched them to the battery or what? i dont understand what you mean theres no power coming from the front to the back...

haha no took them out the amp - also wanted to check fuse

because last time i tried touching the screws that hold them in place or whatever you call it, it didnt show up as i had power when i actually did

so i toook the two out and somewhere from the front (hooked up to batt) and back the power is lost?
