But the worst part for me is that i don't trust the product... im scarred of them... I feel like an asshole saying all of this, but im not just not okay with how this has all went down. Bill has been 100% helpful the whole time, thats why its so hard to complain... but great customer service doesnt fix a physical problem... When my first one smoked it looked almost exactly like that 2500.1 that blew... same exact spots were burnt on mine, just not as bad as that... Really frustrating... I hate to see this, because in bench testing these amps all were proven powerhouses... I was really excited... He is sending me the two 1000.1's that he has been using in his wifes ride for the last few months, and i will just send both of mine back to him. He asked me a couple questions about my set-up to try to troubleshoot why i am having so many problems, we havent found anything out yet, but were still working on it.. I will feel much better using two amps that have been proven to work, so everythings good. Just gotta wait some more, lol. Got a question for everyone though.. Like i said yesterday, my HU switch is broken and stuck in the "three way" position... So instead of Front/Rear/Subwoofer... im stuck with Low/Mid/High.. How should i set the crossover settings on my radio so that i will still get good results even though i am forced to use it three way? Better question may be this... which position do i want the switch to be in? Do i want it in 2.2Ch (3 way), or do i want it in 4.2Ch (F/R/Sub-w)? Its currently stuck in 2.2...
