I also turned the "subwoofer level" on the HU down to 0/15... Keep it at 0, even when you get the amps that are on their way. Eliminate the on/ off pop... DAT amps turn on/ off extremely quickly. I decided to remove my rear 6x9's and run my system passive 3way instead of active. Ordered speaker wire earlier in the week and i just got that today... I also bought a relay so that my amps will all have a delayed turn on/off. I won't do anything with it until Monday, but look forward to an update sometime in the near future. I still haven't gotten my amps in the mail yet, Bill's on vacation so i cant get tracking numbers. I figured i would for sure have it Monday. Oh well, still anxiously waiting... UPS put a stop on my packages, so for almost 2 weeks they sat in CA... On Wednesday night Bill told me he would let me know what was going on, I emailed him yesterday and earlier today because I still haven't heard anything... On a brighter note, I fixed the switch on my radio... At least I think I did. The switch is currently in 4.2 channel position, but when I go to my crossover settings it still says low/mid/high... Anyone with a 9887 have any clue why it doesn't say front/rear/sub? Also, i picked this up for school earlier this week... my room-mate owns the one we used to use. I can fit like 3 cases of bee...Soda, in here. This one has been sitting here for almost 3 weeks, broken... Its twin brother is still in my trunk, im still too mad to take the time to take it out... ' Still need an answer to my question about my HU, and i am still waiting for Bill to respond to my emails to let me know whats going on with the shipment i was supposed to get a week ago. This summer has been a complete disappointment... Wow man, that sucks... when i first put my back seat back in it shorted out my battery for a second... scared the living shit out of me... I thought i was using good equipment... Im just getting really frustrated... I havent heard from Bill since thursday. I go back to school in less than a month... I just want what i paid for... at the very least i want to know where the hell it is. I spent close to 2k on this over the last three months and i have nothing to show for it... Im scared for my life lol, im going nuts thinking of every way possible to protect the wiring and the whole fusing situation.
