Subs Facing Up

Recommended Posts

I would look into 15s and just run 2-15s... Also is that all the room you have?? Or is that just what your gonna use for the box?? Cause you will need room for batts and amps, Plus make sure you can get the box in the trunk after being built... My box was built in 2 pieces to get it to fit ...

That's almost 11 cubic feet internal volume. I figured about 2.5 - 3.0 per sub ported. Yes, the box will slide right in. This isn't my first build, I have been into car audio for about 22 years and have designed and built many systems, just never one with subs facing upward in a trunk.

I like the idea of 2-15's (or 12's if you already have them) behind the seat, sealing off the trunk. I'd roll with the sealed off backseat/trunk idea and use what you want or can fit. Just my $.02
