Generally that type of insulation gets real weak and can only handle so much heat transfer. :nea:

i have the 1.32 solder things from walmart lol i did notice as soon as the torch touched the wire instantly soaked it all up....where would be the best place for some solder with gerth??

I'll just edit this one for your reply. Patience and a steady hand. I soldered 22 2/0 terminals the other day. You can get it on nice and even too. :)

lol most of us probably have a 15-20 watt iron. It could be done with an iron around 200w or so maybe

Its not the flex. They used to have a 50$ 0 gauge kit, (exactally like their $26.99 4 gauge) but they don't sell it anymore. Mine isn't perfect lol, but it held my weight when I hung on it. I'll get a few pics give me a sec.

thanks man and wierd thing too i just bought a couple lead terminals they look exactly like those. thanks all ill get more done tomorrow and hopefully update my build log with the big 3 done
