Blackedout Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 You should do without solder and see if crimping them gains you that .2 db why without solder? wouldn't it be a better connection with solder In the short run You'll have less resistance because another element hasn't been added. In the long run Solder makes it corrosion resistant. Solder it.. Its a daily system. Trunk Build Log

MarioB Posted March 21, 2011 Author Report Posted March 21, 2011 Just finished adding another run to the rear, I did the run straight off the alt. to the rear batteries. Now i have a total of 3 runs of +/-. Out of the 50 feet of cable i just purchased i got about 3 feet left. Gotta try and find some dual inputs now for the amps so i can run r runs to each +/-. Voltage resting at 14.8-14.9 dropping down to 13.7 on music when a good bass hits. 12- DC Audio m2Lvl3 12's1- Hertz HSK3 way2- DC5K's2- ZX350.42- Stinger SP1500D batteries in rear3- runs of 1/0ga. to the rearTeam DC Audiodcsoundlab.com Quality is all in how you take pictures I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person crazy to fit so many in so little.
