I have a great chance to run these amps . I need to know how do they do in a spl setting. Will love to see if anyone have video of them in use. Ram Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I currently am running the C5, C2, and C9 from Cadence. They are all remarkable amps, and I dont have anything bad to say about them. They are powerhouse amps, and take abuse. Just a reminder, make sure you have the battery power to push them. I have some videos, I can post them up later if youre interested. Mendozauly Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Cool hey how are they rated at? I was told that they are 18volt rated, so the c6 will only do 4-5k and the C5 will do 3-4k. Im looking into running my DC Audio,18" lvl 5. they are dual 2ohm. I have a XS D31 under the hood and a pair of D6500 in the rear under my second row seat. hopefully a pair of 270xp DC Eng Alt's. 2 run's of 3/0 . I hope this is enough for a pair of C5 or C6. Now I am running two subs per amp as apposed to all four on both amps. Each amp has a 1ohm load...but again I have yet to clamp them since. fecupe2001 Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 I have a Cadence C6 wich broke down because of the vibrations, it was under the back seat about 8" away from the box but it´s a very small car and everything shakes!!! Well, i can tell you these, that amp took the abuse for more than a year on that spot, so yes, i would say they are great!! I clamped mine 2800 watts @ 3.8 ohms 11.5v so i would say they do very well, the C6 does 4800 @ 14.4 if i remember correctly wich it´s still great, actually, at one time i had a single HC1200 kinetik with a 140 amps alternator and that shit pounded very nice, i don´t think they are that power hoggers because my voltage didn´t drop horrible! if you can find it on a good price i would say it totally worth it, or maybe you could use a Soundigital and sound even louder By the way, it was repaired 2 times and still doesn´t work properly, i guess there´s no good technicians here, i´m thinking on sending it to the US and change the board or jus throw that thing to the garbage, i´m frustated already haha, but well, nothing is perfect right? i don´t have any complain about the amp, but for the "technicians" here YES!! The only reason I ask is because I have my C2 and my C5 mounted on the box and they have no issues. Quote

The little "legs" on the 360lc mosfets broke in pieces, There was too many vibrations, i never cared about that, when the amp broke down and i installed a borrowed MTX on the same spot, put my hand over the amp and that shit moved horrible!! I can´t complain about the C6, it took all that abuse for more than a year, but now, i´ve been trying to repair it and spent around 250$ dollars on technician and parts and they weren´t able to fix it, i guess i´ll send it to US... By the way, on the sexplorer i have an Almani amplifier attached to the box without any issues, on the little swift i had a powerbass on the box also, my boxes are 1" thick with a lot of bracing an resin, they don´t vibrate at all, the problem is that exact spot wich i didn´t know vibrated that much!!
