opinions on box design needed

I'm planning out my install and have a few options on my box. I'm going to seal off the trunk and fire subs forward. my port type and placement is what I'm hung up on. i want it to sound good with the rear seat up in daily driving, and still put down a good number on the TL with the rear seat down.

idea 1. subs and port forward into cab, slot port 4h x 24w tuned @ 32hz. port would be under the subs in a indention above spare tire well.

idea 2. subs forward and port through rear deck(stock 8" sub hole in rear deck), aero 8" tuned @ 32hz.

vehicle: 2010 accord coupe

subs: 2x 12" DC 4xl

Amp: Crescendo 3k

these are not my only options but a few that i came up with. if you have any input please feel free to add it...

I say seal it off from the trunk and put the port on one side of the subs rather than below them, if you have room of course.

Is the rear seat split? If so do the port on the driver side that way if you have to have someone back there the half with the port could still be folded down. And somone correct me if I'm wrong but for SPL the waves out of the port would have more time to develop going from driver rear to front passenger kick.

Thanks for the input guys! my back seat doesn't split, its all or nothing. that was part of the reason i was considering using the rear deck hole for the stock 8". that way i wouldn't lose all my bass when i have the seat up.

my concern is will the port facing forward still sound good with the seat up.

with a slot port i could make it have more area, area that would be wasted due to the shape of my trunk floor.

i guess i should drop by thor's thread n ask him a few questions.
