speedball1978 Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 hello i was wondering if anyone could help me i was wondering if its possible to wire three 12 inch alpine type x's to one ohm thank you not to one ohm, it will load at either 2.67 or .67 ohm load so your best bet is to wire it in series to give you a safe 2.67 ohm load depending on your amp specs, if its a 1 ohm stable you might be able to run at .67 load but you'll have to reset the gain down and keep an eye on the amp, it'll produce excessive heat dissapation.
