Anyone hear of Clarion?

2 things really stand out for me on Clarion, both are head units, well, I ran there CD players when I first started driving.

Was the best stereo in the world, nothing could be better quality or cooler, and well built ( at the time)

The next, for all you 1990s installers,

Auto PC

I loved this deck, the first computer style deck, with real processing, GPS, voice command, this stereo opened the doors for so many technologies.

I loved how you could name the deck,

"Bitch, turn on"

"Bitch Play CD"

Clarion decks in the 90's were the shit. I forget the model number, but I spent $500 on a Clarion deck back in 94 or 95. Damn thing got stolen when my car got jacked and I was so pissed. I had the damn face but no unit.

OH, didn't knew that.

But what if you're girlfriend sits next to you?

Clarion is some decent stuff, theire subwoofers are more geared to SQ and can handle a bit more then RMS.

Don't know a lot of their HU's,but the amps are decent too, they put out rated power.
