lol actually thats not a bad idea. If u keep saving u can get something really good. but if ur in a hurry to get subs. we need to know how much u can spend.

how about a 15" L7 Kicker sub? Then another one when you save up the money. You could get one cheap off of eBay with a total price of about 300 bucks.

i was thinking of 7500 mtx subs and i just want better subs then the ones i got now. i kinda want to do it in steps so i don't just jump in to the big ones and know nothing about them. lol

At the expense of sounding old, I have bought out of being in a hurry and not having enough $ at the time plenty of time. Everytime, I find myself at the end of the project, hearing/seeing the result and wanting to kick the crap out of myself for not waiting. At that point I realize that the $ I kicked out would have been better spent coupled with some additional funds to buy what I really wanted. I would really say just start saving as much as you can. Plot, Plan, search, etc., and then buy when you find what you really want. If you are anything like me, this method will cost you much less in the end.

If you can't bring yourself to save for something truly great, don't feel too horrible. It is really tough to restrain yourself and set the $ aside.
