Im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he means 8 gauge for speaker wire on his woofer, If he is running 2 2200s on 8 gauge wire.... I dont even know, would look aweful funny having 8 gauge sticking out of a terminal that is made for 1/0 gauge.
