corteznewbie
redoing the wire between my 2 batteries. which would give the best flow. and yes i'm going to use welding cable because my local audio shop wants $6 a foot for 1/0 and i can get 3/0 welding cable for 3.50 a foot. and 2/0 for 3.00 a foot and 1/0 for 2.75 a foot. and all rated to do a full 300 amps up to 100 feet Quote Team DBs (Driven By sound)
VaBeachKevin
Are you going to be able to get terminals for 3/0 wire? That would be a major reason I wouldn't go with wire that big. That would be a major reason I wouldn't go with wire that big. if you are at a welding supply retailer they will have lugs for any size wire they carry. useally up to 4/0. but do yourself a favor and ask if they have them in bulk on the back shelves. cost less than the little 1 or 2 packs that are on the racks up front. also get a 2lb spool of solder. those lugs hold alot.
