baaudio Posted July 11, 2010 Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 title says it all. should these subs be sealed or ported? i had a pair a while back (about a year) that i ran ported before i really knew alot about box designing and they got down. but im building a setup for a friend, hes got a 93 seville. hes running a vega 500.1 on them at 2 ohm. im thinking ported but im worried about not having a trunk pass through. how much does that effect how much bass gets into the car? EricR Posted July 12, 2010 Report Share Posted July 12, 2010 I'd go ported i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
