this is how i did it in my explorer

go to home depot get some of this wood. should be real cheap.

now dont just lay the wood down and bam put some sort of foam or insulation type. u can also wrap this piece to make it look nice.

Pull an EXO and put birch in place of the window, and then weld it completely shut.
