help finding ohms of voice coils

i bought a memphis studio sub to day and it is a duel voice coil sub my dmm says 4.6 one each coil would that meen it is a duel 4ohm voice coil? thanks for any help

Yes dual four ohm. How ever, if it is not a new one, push the cone in and out and see if it changes.

yes most likely it is dual 4 ohm otherwise if it was a dual 2 ohm it would read lower than 3 ohms.. so there you have it

thanks for the help when i push in the cone it does change i do know that the sub works i tested it befor i bought it
