moh.vze.com
Someone I know wants a small system budget is $150. Is this enough? It's going in a large vehicle and he's looking for a single sub (10'' or 12''). I'll find out exactly what car it is later, but it's not that old of a vehicle. Power: around 300 watt rms is fine. $150 enough for sub + box + amp + wire? EricR
Make it 300 and it could work. I think when I was 16 I spent around 500 on my first system, and that was 13 years ago Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? Brandon15zzz
hifonics hfi seems perfect 300watts rms, single 12" and for only $35 then you have 100 for an amp or whatever else you need. Thanks for the reply. I'll get back to him and suggest that if he wants a system he should have a $300 budget. I should sell him my old JBL's that's been sitting in my garage for the past 7+ years for maybe $40 ~_~ ANy ideas how much these subs are worth today? it looks like it's rated at 250 watts rms each sub http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Owner%27s%20Manual/GT%20100100D120120D150150D%20Subs%20OM%20FINAL.pdf Edited July 24, 2010 by moh.vze.com Quote DC Audio - Singer Alternators - Knukonceptz - XS Power - Hybrid Audio - Rockford Fosgate - Second Skin Audio - SMD - Sundown Audio - Elemental Designs
