fritosaregood
i'm talking about if someone put there head up to that opening could i do it then? maybe if its all sealed of under there except for that opening. or if thats where to port is gonna be seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
memphisbasshead
maybe if its all sealed of under there except for that opening. or if thats where to port is gonna be ok now i'm getting really confused cause i keep getting more money and people keep sending me kick ass deals lol so here are my several different choices of subs and i'm sticking with these choices. 1. RE Audio HC 15 on 1200 rms the guy is asking $135 shipped and here are the specs. T/S specs: Qts=0.4 Znom=2 Fs=25.7 Pe=1200 SPL=88.59 Re=2.2 Le=0 fLe=0 KLe=0 BL=22.6 Xmax=0.021 Cms=6.2E-5 Qms=7.06 Qes=0.43 Rms=14.13878 Mms=0.6182 Sd=0.081 Vas=0.1146 Dia=0 Vd=0.00170097724584057 2. I already have a dc audio level 3 15 and it needs a recone so i asked rusty if a level 5 coil could fit and he said yes but that he had never tried it before so i said i might try it out but i'll have to think about it. and then PSI is 40 minutes away from were i live so i could drive there and get a recone for the level 3 15 thats rated for 1200 watts rms. 3. Mach 5 Audio IXL 18.4 18 subwoofer on 1000 rms for $225 shipped. here are the specs T/S Specs: Fs = 17.7 Hz Re = 3.4 ohms[dc] Le = 6.09 mH Qt = 0.37 Qes = 0.39 Qms = 5.59 Mms = 434.34 grams Rms = 8.69 kg/s Cms = 0.184 mm/N Vas = 274.1 liters Sd= 1029.22 cm^2 Bl = 20.51 Tm Lp(2.83V/1m) = 91.60 dB Power Handling: 1000 Watts RMS SPL (2.83v/1m): 89.2 db Impedence: 4 Ohm (SVC) Recommended Enclosure Sizes: Sealed: 4.6 cubic feet Ported: 7 cubic feet @ 19Hz EBS: 12.4 cubic feet @ 15Hz 4. 2 brand new dayton audio classic 18's on 600 watts rms Parts Express My Car Audio Setup: Sub: 1 RE Audio HC 15 Dual 2 ohm(soon to get a psi recone) Daily Sub Box: 1.62 cubes net with 2 dayton audio 8 inch passive radiators tuned to 34.35 hz, 141.9 @ 48 hz sealed on the dash with termlab Competition Sub Box: 3.10 cubic ft. net tuned to 50.58 hz with 2 6 inch aeroports, 147.9 @ 62 hz sealed on the dash with termlab Amp: Powerbass ASA 1000.1 Dx(eventually gonna get a planet audio bb2400.1) Big 3: Phoenix Gold 1/0 Gauge Amp Wire: Knukoncepts 1/0 gauge Alternator: Stock 90 amp Battery Under the hood: Autocraft Gold Top Battery Battery In Back: None for now but I am looking for one so pm me if you have one for sale HU: Pioneer DEH-2900MP Front/Rear Amp: Hifonics Txi-4408 4 channel amp Front Speakers: Orion Cobalt 6.5 coaxial Rear Deck Speakers: Orion Cobalt 6x9 coaxial Home Audio Setup: Speakers:2 Cerwin Vega D-3's (10" Woofer,5 1/4" mid-range,1" Bullet Dome Tweeter) 2 Cerwin Vega D-5's (12" Directed Audio Xtreme 124SX Subwoofer,5 1/4 mid-range,1" Bullet Dome Tweeter)Kenwood center channel and rears. fritosaregood
Ive never used the RE and havent heard much about it either. For home theater i wouldnt do a lvl 5 the lvl 3 would be alot better for it. The mach 5 would me a great choice. but i would use the dayton reference or titanics. seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
