The first one is a Fi Audio X series 15 Fi X 15 The second one is a Dayton Audio DCS450-4 18 Classic Series Subwoofer http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-475 I want the sub to be for movies so i want it to get extremely low and loud off of very little power. My 15 hits pretty low tuned to 27 hz. Great for movies. and music. I'd choose the 18" and tune to like 17hz or something crazy low like that. EricR Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 I have a 12" dayton sub in a 3 cuft box tuned to 22hz powered by a bash 500w and it shakes my walls i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
