Cdizzle
I had Linux on here to dual boot, but I didnt want it any more so I got Partition magic and deleted the partitions, well it turns out that linux was the screen that let me choose which OS to load, linux or XP. Well when I restarted my computer to see if it deleted it right, it would come up as an error because linux wasnt there to let me choose the OS anymore. Well I installed XP where linux was to see if it would work, and now I get a screen to boot XP, or XP.... the second XP is the one that I need. My keyboard is wireless so it doesnt work till windows is loaded and it is defaulted to run on the first XP which has none of my files on it... Thus I need to plug in a ps2 keyboard so that I can choose which OS to load, but I wanted to delete that first XP and just have a regular boot up... Does anyone know how I can do this? WickeD
You should just reformat and use LastXP.

Dale
try repairing windows XP and see if that helps. it is possible to repair xp while leaving all of your files/programs in tact. worth a shot **use the xp cd after you have set the boot sequence to CDROM as top priority...that way you boot from disc Edited August 2, 2007 by Dale
