is your rear deck sealed from the trunk? mine wasnt and once i sealed it off i gaind .6db

Yes, it is now.

And I did gain over 3db.

It is still louder with the trunk open but I was doing 139's with the trunk closed and after I sealed the deck off I was doing 142's.

With the trunk open it's around 143-4.

But It sounds much louder, my car doesn't meter very well.

You need more port I would have done 20 sq inches of port per cube. I would do 2 cubes on the box and 44 sq of port tuned to 34 hertz and that should get you above a 145.

Box is 3 cubes.

Port is 41 inch squared.

Pretty much exactly what my box is. 3 cubes with ~41 sq in of port, I'm tuned to 35 though. It's what Jacob recommended for me, probably based on my desire to have a flatter response over pure output. I listen to a lot of metal and whatnot so I didn't want just lows. Still slams harder than anything I've had before so I'm happy with mine. I doubt I'm over a 40, though (pure guess here).

The XL's should have 1.5 cubes for 10's.

So I gave them 1.5.

The port is big enough to what the XL's need.

It may be small but it's enough.

and I would rather hit a 143 at 30hz than a 145 at 41.

xl 10's is 1 cube and xl 12s is 1.5, you could tune it 30 hertz still just at least add some more port. Just trying to help you out, it took me a while to get a 150 out of my trunk. But nice build

The port was originally supposed to be 2.75 wide and it was accidentally cut 2.5..
