  1. IIRC it did rated power with a rise to 2 ohms, or something along those lines. It was in a thread a while back, possibly the thread Jacob started when it first came out. Edit: I found the thread. Here's Jacob's quote:
  2. No pics but gas is around $3.50-3.70 a gallon here. My Bonneville gets about 16/29 with an 18 gal tank and my Rainier gets about 13/19 with a 22 gal tank.
  3. Whichever one is installed properly will be loudest.
  4. I'm pretty sure it is. That's how I did mine (I also added in the 3/4" for the front baffle thickness).
  5. Congrats. I had my first when I had just turned 21 and my mom had me at 19 (and my sister at 16) so my family is used to young grandparents.
  6. Torres box calc is better. His also gives you physical port length which is measured at the port wall so there is no guessing.
  7. I think I remember Dave @ PSI saying that the easiest way is just by testing. You just use test tones one by one. Whichever tone the sub moves the least and the PR moves the most is your tuning. Add more weight to lower tuning and remove to raise it (I think). I'd like to try them but it's a fair amount of added cost.
  8. PSI also sells PRs at fixmyspeaker.com . Just have to shell out about another 100 bucks. I think if you get a PR you are supposed to use more cone area than your sub has...but the nice thing is it keeps the box size very small.
  9. SA-15 would be my first thought. Also the AudioQue SDC2.5 15 would be even cheaper.
  10. I remember hearing a lot of bad stuff about AAMCO. Just sayin...
  11. Same here. The Karma ones. They seem to be really good quality and are like $15 for a 20 foot 2 channel.
  12. I used Arauco ply for my box, but I'm not sure if that would be available where you are. It's a lot lighter than MDF and I was told it would be fine for boxes. Just throwing that out there.
  13. Why do you need so much port area? If you're using aeroports you don't necessarily need the 12-16 that people usually recommend. In my buddy's 1.7 cube box for his SA12 we used a single 4 inch (which is a little over 12 sq in of port) and he doesn't have any port noise or anything. You could probably use 2 6 inch ports and that would be around 56 sq in of port, which is over 10 sq in per cube.
  14. No, the radius of a 6" port is 3". 3 x 3 x 3.14 = 28.26 sq. in. You were using diameter.
  15. That's why I always keep my original packaging (unless you get something in some shitty ass packaging).
