moetpoppin Posted July 30, 2010 Report Share Posted July 30, 2010 Hey I am getting two 15" Pyle subs in the mail this week. I am seeing what you guys recommend as far as an enclosure. I know they aren't the best subs, so please save both of our time and keep your "pyle of shit" comments to yourself. That is not the reason I decided to start this thread. I got these subs on eBay for the low and thought it would be a challenge to make these bad boys sound with a good install. I have put some numbers into WinISD but it is the first time I have used it so I don't want to waste my time building something that I haven't gotten any feedback on. I don't have any restriction on dimensions except that I want to be able to make the box out of one 8'x4' sheet of 3/4" MDF. What designs would be better? There is 4 designs I am wondering about. Single Chambered Sealed Enclosure Dual Chambered Sealed Enclosure Single Chambered Slot Ported Enclosure Dual Chambered Slot Ported Enclosure Here is the manual from the Pyle website. I am getting two of the Pyle PL1590BL 15" Subwoofers Any help would be appreciated.
