Not bad grits, just a quick comment, you hit that number on a sweep? burp? i´m asking because you hit that on a very HIGH frequency, very far from the car´s resonant frequency, i guess that box sounds kind of punchy right? you like rock, trance, techno and that kind of music? if you do then it´s more than fine, if you prefer something lower, try to tune the box lower or something, it would get better on lower frequencies and your score should raise :yahoo:

Nice vid once again, cheers!!

According to Rick aka Techforce it's tuned to 40hz and it couldnt get any lower cause of hell I cant remember what he said now.

And I was doing the actual excursion bass test cd. He actually turned the bass down when he first put it in so it wouldnt be so bassy <--- yea new word LOL

And I can't really do the low lows it messes with my heart and I dont like that feeling. But I'm impressed for it being such a small box in my truck...

but yea I like my rock, hip hop, country (gretchen wilson thumps) I just wished my volume went past 39 lol

And I finally put a member build/show log so this vid is in there along with the pic of the score. (it's in my siggy) so if mods wanna close or delete this thread thats cool.

And thanks! :)

40 hz is kinda high even for 8's i would tune to 36-38 hz and plus they have a fs of 22.8 hz so they should be able to get pretty low for just 8's in the right box

I honestly dont know jack shit when it comes to tunning and at what hertz.... All I know is what it sounds like when its all said and done. He said not to touch the bass settings on the HU, Cause RE's have a tendency to blow

Hey... hitting a 134 on TL with 2 RE REX 8's in a prefab box with only a couple hudred watts... I would leave it as it sits...

Those are the words from him (someone was raggin cause I have a Cap)

But I would like to go a lil bigger maybe some 12's.

Ohh I thought you had the RE XXX and I couldn't figure out how you were powering them. So how do those XxX sound and are you just powering them off the HU, are they 6x9s or are they the ones in the photo?
