pauleqer Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 ok i think im gonna ditch my rf t112d4s, just not happy with them anymore. i see lots of ppl have fi subs and was thinkin bout them. my box that i have is 36Lx21.5Dx16.5H outside dimensions tuned to around 38ish. the inside height is exactly 15". cant really fit anything bigger in my trunk unless i build it inside of it. if i get some fi's then im gonna haffta put a new front on the box or build a new one idk what im gonna do yet. was thinkin either the ssd's or the Q's. 15's or 12's. never had 15's before are they that much louder than 12's? if i did get the 15's they would be about .5 cubes smaller than recommended and the 12's would be about right at the max recommended. my amp is a rft10001bd, 1633 rms 1ohm. also id haffta get the d1's right? wire each sub to 2 ohms and hook them to the amp to get 1 ohm?
