I want to know will facing the subs with the port towards the cabin be better, or would facing the subs towards the trunk be better. or are there other ideas

Guest Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Depends how well dynomatted the trunk is (if you're gonna facing the port & subs towards the trunk) i love it when people use a brand name as a verb. its called SOUND DEADENING, not dynamat which you also spelled wrong its trial and error though like previously said. usually trunk cars are louder pointing woofers and port facing trunk. but you can also face them forward (towards seats) if you seal the box off around the edges to not let any air into the trunk.

Truth i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
