TLEJ
So in one car, I've got 2 10" mtxs.. and 1 battery up under the hood. I have a little battery charger where you just clamp on the red and black pinchers, and it charges the battery at 50amps, 20amps, and 10 amps. I have 8 gauge cables coming off the positive of the battery with fuses, and it hasn't blown them.. I use to play music while it was charging. Is that safe? For some reason I think it's HORRIBLE treatment to the amp or something

JBERK
I know at shows, my buddy's Dad would use a battery charger and have all his stuff going at the same time... Worked great for years, I wouldn't think it'd be a problem, the amps are getting DC power from the battery and the battery charger is feeding the battery DC power as well.. I wouldn't connect the clamps to the side of the post that the cables are coming off of but if it works I'd say you're protected because of the fuses you mentioned.
