I laughed. 50hz fart boxes. seen it 3 times now. so you have a box thats 2.5 after with 16sqin per? tuned to ............40hz? try this. 3cuft after with 20sqin per tune to 37hz no 45's.... just a basic box and spray glue 1lb of polyfill on the back wall betcha im louder all over K I checked out some of what you do.. and damn. Lol I designed the box last night and will start building it this weekend hopefully. Forgot to say... the box ray listed is not gigantic. It would fit your space perfectly, the dimensions you gave will easily fit a 3.8cf box and the box will still be above 3cubic feet after port, and sub displacement. Wrong... i had to switch my dimensions a little... lol. Built a 3cf box with 75ci of slot port and fed it with a rf bd4000 and it was mean. Very musical too. Was in a small car 2010 camry and was pegging 143.6 with the seats folded Down My next build is going to be a 10cf with 3 9512s in a ram extended cab off 12000rms Alpine F1 Status DD CS6.5 x2 Front Stage DD 9512H DD M4a @ 2 ohm DD S2b @ 8 ohm per channel I run high ohn loads for MASSIVE headroom and cleaner SQ 270amp alt D2400 up front D3100 x2 batter in back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only because the box will be modeled for my car specifically... and I'm more into sound quality than anything else. I will have over 3000 on tap for bass... but keep the bass alllll the way down unless its demo time So yeah, in a sense it could be worth it. If it doesn't sound up to par... design me something, and if it sounds better than his design I'll send you 50 bucks too lol. I really don't care about the money... I just want results I really laughed and fell off my chair. DD, 3000Watts and a PWK design. Those 3 keywords don't have anything to do with SQ. Sorry if i am rude, but SQ and 3000 watts don't mix.(You just want it to sound decent.) EDIT: Oh and Rays design looks like a good one, i think you'll be really surprised if u build the box. Its a car, I'm not looking for it to have sound quality surpassing my home set up:) I just want it to sound wayyy better than it does now, seeing as how I switched to DD from my Gti... then t2... and now DD. Each progressively sounds worse lol. I know 3k doesn't make it sq worthy, I would have went with focal if thats what I was looking for. Expensive .... the sub didnt sound that great...but got hella loud What subs? ... with more and more power. DDs !!, 3000Watts and a PWK design.
