jdubs Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 So today I put my focus on the termlab for a pre metering (pre being before pwk designed box, m3a and a few other goodies) System: sub- 9512g amp- RF T1500.1 box- DD's full sized high efficiency enclosure Any guesses on what it metered? I'm curious as to roughly what people thought because i was surprised EDIT: also running power series door speakers and whatnot on a 600.4... just in case somebody wants to know for some reason Kenwood DDX 514 DD M3a DD 9512G RF 600.4 RF power series 6x8s lots of zero ga. Whats coming: Kenwood Excelon screen, DD high end comps, DD 4ch, XS batteries

Boon Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 We did a pretty similar setup in a Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan - 9512 in a slot ported box on ~1200wrms. Had to pull the back seat out to get it over a 140. Wanged music though. You need more power to bring those subs to life. On 1500-odd watts it will be snoozing. Feed it 3kw+ and see what happens 10.x volts fo' life!
