kirill007
It depends, what do you want it to be able? Play music for hours, or just about an hour or half hour or 5 minutes on full tilt? OR is it for a burp? Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
rckstar
I normally play it full tilt while driving, say maybe an hour at the most, or demo for 5 min or so,I generally dont play it for more then that. Juice0723
well it depends on the amp as well. because of efficiency. You should check your voltage when playing your system. But I say about 1500watts rms and not slam it for a long period of time eventually you gotta charge the batt up again with your alt. kirill007
I would do 1000-1200W RMS at maximum.(but that's just me, i'm carefull...) Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
spl4life
i ran 2500w rms amp (HCCA D5000) on a stock 70amp alt... with 2 d3100s... but the gain was wayyyyy down... so realisticlly i was probly bumping around 1k to 1500w rms... ..i tired to push it past 2k... and i clipped my sub to death lol... voltage drop to 10.2v lol... id say get a 1500w amp... like a Sundown or whatever... jus becareful with the gain... edit: dont forget to get some batteries... Juice0723
I think he is asking how much his current electrical system could handle. Like not buying anything else for his electrical system just how it sits now. rckstar
I was actually hoping to get away with running 1500w @ 2 ohms Quote my motto: hit it, quit it, never admit it
Juice0723
Just gotta watch how low your voltage drops. Like you don't want it to drop below 11volts.
