Hey guys

I have 90amp alternator,optima blue top 55ah with 1/0 guage cable and big 3 in my ride. whats the biggest amp (RMS wise) that I could use on this electical? I d like to run at 2ohms as well.... for daily

well it depends on the amp as well. because of efficiency. You should check your voltage when playing your system. But I say about 1500watts rms and not slam it for a long period of time eventually you gotta charge the batt up again with your alt.

i ran 2500w rms amp (HCCA D5000) on a stock 70amp alt... with 2 d3100s... but the gain was wayyyyy down... so realisticlly i was probly bumping around 1k to 1500w rms... ..i tired to push it past 2k... and i clipped my sub to death lol... voltage drop to 10.2v lol...

id say get a 1500w amp... like a Sundown or whatever... jus becareful with the gain...

edit: dont forget to get some batteries...

I think he is asking how much his current electrical system could handle. Like not buying anything else for his electrical system just how it sits now.

Just gotta watch how low your voltage drops. Like you don't want it to drop below 11volts.
