H701 gurus help

Yeah the 1003 and 1004 were the 3 revision in the flip out decks. They replaced the cva 1005 / 1006 These are AV head units only, meaning they don't have built in cd/dvd players. The CVA 800/ 801 were the CD decks and then the newer version was the IVA D 900 / 901 I have been running the D901 since about 2003ish and to date is one of the most versicle decks I have ever used.

For a flip, the D 106 is the last of the the flip outs. Most decks are now double din. For the older flip units you can add a Optional AV Expansion (KCE-104V) Box. It's a nice unit quality wise, but lacking cd in at the dash is a turn off for me.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

ehhh, didn't realize they don't have CD. Big turn off for me too. Even though 90% of the time I'm listening off the ipod, every now and then I throw in an old cd, or go buy a new one and want to listen to it on the way home.

Thanks for the info.
