Okay so my buddy is supposed to be buying my amplifier which is a Kicker ZX1000.1 so assuming he does buy it, he wants to use my old Tripple 12" Subwoofer Box too .. But he needs subs for it, which need to be dual 4 ohm, and handle like 400wrms .. Any suggestions? He doesnt wanna spend more than $300 for subs .. Any suggestions? How exactly do i calculate the port length and such You can do a center port with anything, it just depends on how you design the box, the shorter the port the better for center ports if yu want the enclosure to be a single chamber, once it gets the ports width from the back of the box you have to make it two seperate chambers with a divider down the center of the port.
