jdubs Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Posted August 25, 2010 thats weird. you said you had your batterys out? double check all your connections, and the m3 will draw way more power than your rockford. when you start drawing 300amps plus it will find your weakess link. even connectors play a role in it. i would put a stinger volt meter wired to my rear batteries so i know voltage at amps. or wire it too your amps power connections. its a cheap way to save your amps, and narrow down problems. in my opinion though i think something might be wrong with the amp Yeah me too. I didn't have it turned up much higher than the rockford either because I am happy with it being that loud for daily. I'm going to my dealer in a few to check it out Okay something weird... its the remote wire.. Lol. If I hook up my 4 ch. or sub amp alone, no noise. How should I wire this to not have the noise? I did have the remote wire in parallel from one amp to the next. Only way i know how to do it Kenwood DDX 514 DD M3a DD 9512G RF 600.4 RF power series 6x8s lots of zero ga. We put I diode in the remote wire of both amps... and the noise went away:) Only posting this because it interests me. Boon Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 You have a voltage differential between your amps. Put a multimeter across the power and ground of one amp then check it on the other way. Current was trying to flow the wrong way through your remote wire to equalise the difference, I would say. 10.x volts fo' life!
